PRIVACY POLICY FOR THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
This Privacy Policy for the Protection of Personal Information describes the treatment that our institution (hereinafter “PBC”) gives to personal information collected from users though our web portal and mobile applications.

This policy is in accordance with the provisions contained in the Personal Data Protection Law, Law No. 29733 of Peru and its regulations.
OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE PERSONAL INFORMATION, WHEN WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION, AND TYPE OF INFORMATION COLLECTED
When visiting our web portal and mobile applications, you are not obligated to provide personal information. However, to access services that PBC provides, such as events, among others, our organization may require specific and necessary personal information that may include name, corporate affiliation, email address, phone number, and address. Also, when the nature of the service requires it, PBC may request other strictly necessary personal data.
USER CONSENT
Filling out the forms that our web portal or mobile applications require represents the express consent of the owner for the collection of their personal data.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR INFORMATION PROVIDED
The personal data that the user provides must be, under the user responsibility, true, complete, accurate, current and must correspond to the user-true-identity. Any type of damage or harm, direct or indirect, that is derived for PBC as-a-result-of partial or total non-compliance with the obligation referred to in this paragraph will be the sole and exclusive responsibility of the user who provided the information.
INFORMATION PROCESSING
The personal data provided will be processed only for the specific purpose for which it was supplied. PBC will not use the user’s personal data for any purpose other than that expressly provided in this Privacy Policy unless it is a purpose expressly permitted or required by applicable law or PBC has previously obtained due consent from the user. PBC will not share or transfer any user’s personal information unless such information is required by applicable law, by court order, or by a competent authority.
USER RESPONSIBILITY
It is the user’s responsibility to review privacy policies on such websites to verify the level of protection of their personal data in that environment which is beyond PBC’s responsibility.
ARCO RIGHTS
The user may exercise their rights to Information, Access, Rectification, Cancellation, Revocation, Opposition, etc. (ARCO) to the use of their personal information, in accordance with the Peruvian Personal Data Protection Law, Law No. 29733. In this regard, the user has the right, among others, to access their personal information, to request the rectification of inaccurate data and to revoke their consent for its processing; likewise, they may request the deletion of their data or oppose its processing, even when these are no longer necessary for the purposes that motivated their collection. The exercise of these rights is free. To do this, you can send an email to info@peruvianbusinesscouncil.orgwith the tittle: “ARCO Rights Attention Request - Law No. 29733, Personal Data Protection Law” and a copy of the identity document (Identity Document/Passport) that proves the ownership of the personal information. The attention of the request will be carried out according to the deadlines provided in the personal data protection regulations in Peru.
CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY FOR PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
PBC reserves the right to modify its Privacy Policy for Personal Data Protection as well as the notice through which it discloses it, in order to adapt it to changes that may require current regulatory framework. It is the user’s responsibility to stay informed about this policy, for which purpose, each time they make use of our web portal or mobile applications, they should consult our Privacy Policy Notice for Personal Data Protection.
